How many sessions do I need?

Not only is each person's situation unique, but each session is unique as well. Thus there is no prescribed series of sessions. Some people come periodically to deepen in themselves; others come for a series of sessions over a short period to resolve a crisis or old trauma that has risen to the surface.

Who is Amanae good for?

Anyone feeling stuck, or knows that there is more to life than they have experienced. Anyone who has not surmounted traumatic experiences. Anyone suffering from a dis-ease. Anyone wanting a more vibrant and direct experience of their full true self.

Will Amanae cure my disease?

During a session, the intention is to let go and dissolve the blocks in the body. In letting go of emotions and opening to our true nature, many illnesses no longer are comfortable in the body and they leave. The intention is not to work directly on the illness/disease, but rather on the being and the soul imbalances that opened the door to the illness.

Why is the breath important?

A conscious breath brings you own awareness into the zone that is being worked. Your awareness is probably the most powerful tool in healing.

Children often hold their breath to survive difficult situations. We keep this habit as adults, minimally breathing or holding our breath during times of stress. If you are willing to breathe fully into the doorways and welcome whatever is there, healing will happen quickly and deeply.

How does Amanae compare to other bodyworks?

There are thousands of wonderful techniques available and all have their own unique signature. Most tend to have the same intention - help people release tensions held in the body. Amanae, with its combination of pressure and deep breathing, goes faster than most works. Faster is not necessarily better, but for those ready for a dynamic experience, this technique can take you far quickly.

What I like about Amanae is that you learn the power of self-healing. Your breath and awareness are key factors in healing.

What can I expect to happen after the session/workshop?

Each person is different and has their own unique experience. Some people feel light and completely renewed while others feel like a truck hit them. Things tend to change quickly and the key is to allow the change to happen, not getting stuck on one feeling or state of being. The session effects tends to continue, so keep allowing anything that wants to come and move through you to do so.

Sometimes the body goes starts detoxifying within 24 hours of a session. It is important to drink more water than usual for a day or two after the session to support your body during this process

Do I need to undress?

I ask people to undress until their underwear. You are under covers for the session except for the area being worked. While it is easier to work directly on the skin, if you are more comfortable leaving clothes on, that is acceptable.

Can you come to my city to give sessions?

I'm available to travel. A contact person is necessary to organize sessions and find a suitable working place.
